Pulp Monsters and Darkson Designs shared a booth and were running demos of their games all day. I was able to attend an event with Morf from Pulp Monsters called "The Rise of C.O.R.E." which introduced some new characters to the setting and even hinted at some new projects for Pulp Monsters in the future.

Here are some photos:
Morf (Maciej) of Pulp Monsters talking to Jack Emmert of Cryptic Studios:

And some AE-Bounty

They had a book to thumb through at the AE booth and the ability to wildly customize your characters in Bounty seems incredibly cool. You choose an Archetype and that gives you some skills and kit and then you have options for your gear and weapons based on that Archetype. Then you apply a species template to the Archetype which further expands and focuses the abilities of the model. Then you throw all those together in a group and play a great game based on the very intuitive rules already used in AE-WWII. Looks fun.

Also, Morf said that C.O.R.E. will come with both hammer and sword options for the model.

Hmmm they're very cool photos. I keep looking at Pulp City and being tempted by it, as the figures are very cool. And the AE Bounty stuff looks nice, though I'm still undecided on it, or whether to just stick to AE-WWII.

Thank you so much Nick! I was hoping someone got close ups of some of that great stuff.

Buy the Pulp City stuff. You won't regret it. Pulp City and Malifaux are my favorite games right now. They both let you do so much fun stuff with just a few models, and they both have personalities that are strong and full of character. Pulp City really does feel like you're playing with characters from a comic book, and the addition of citizens running around the city is great. Maciej is also really nice. I don't think I've ever seen him without a huge smile on his face.

Even if you don't buy any models right away, the rules are currently still on the Pulp City site for free, so you can get a copy and try it out before you decide whether or not your going to join Heavy Metal, A.R.C., the Coven, of just want to be an independent villain or hero.
