So, sitting bored in work I thought of songs to listen to while playing specific masters and thought I'd through it open to the forum. So far:
Zoriada - Voodoo Rythm - The Meteors
Rasputina - Trapped under ice - Metallica
Gremlins - Duelling Banjoes or Born of the Bayou - CCR
Seamus - Living Dead Girl - Rob Zombie
Neverborn - Hunting Humans - Misfits
Sonnia - Witch Hunt - Misfits
Pandora's Kids - Age of Innocence - Iron Maiden

hehe, Nice. Our D&D GM always brings his ipod and sets up some encounters with music, totally dorktastic but it is actually pretty cool most of the time.

Well, I have the old soundtrack they made for the Deadlands game, which is still groovy. And works for my Death Marshals. As would most things by Ennio Morricone.
Justice makes me think of the duel music from Princess Bride, I have to confess.

I always enjoy a bit of war music before gaming, Rammstein are usually pretty good but I've been listening to Alestorm recently to get in the mood.

ah Ravenous. Such an unappreciated movie. And a great soundtrack as well.

You should add Nightwish's "End of All Hope" from their Century Child album.
Don't forget "Skulls" by the Misfits. McM always needs more parts, after all.

Dead Can Dance is always a mood-evoking crowd pleaser too...

We need some creepy cover of the Wizard of Oz soundtrack for the Neverborn group...

It occurs to me that some song from Rasputina (http://www.rasputina.com/) would be great, but I can't think of any one single that would be fitting.

So, something by Danny Elfman, then.
Or, hey, the Nightbreed soundtrack!

I dig on their cover of All Tomorrow's Parties, especially.

One for one of the resurrectionists would be Dance of Death by Iron Maiden.

I would've thought appropriate soundtracks for Malifaux would've been from various cowboy movies like a fistful of dollars and what not.

Personally I think the soundtrack should reflect more the terrain you are playing on then the crew involved. In a western ghost town, go with the good the bad and the ugly. In a Gremlin village, dueling banjos.
Since Malifaux is such a mash up of genres there is a large amount of music you can justify with it.

I think at one point we decided these guys would make a pretty good Malifaux soundtrack

Love Abney Park. Perhaps I should build a Malifaux Pandora Station and link to it! :D

The drone doom band Earth made a very cool all-instrumental-with-clean-guitars album called Hex; Or Printing in the Infernal Method, which sounds like a very desolate and lonely Western soundtrack without being soundtracky. Highly recommended.

Just discovered this band and really like. Definitely good for Malifaux. Two other of my favourite bands that I think have both the image and the sound for Malifaux

I just heard "Miasma and the Carosel of Headless Horses", creepy carnival-esque music. Could be quite fitting for some of the more disturbing characters......
And Clutch must fit in here somehow, there's always room for Clutch!
