I've found myself listening to a LOT of music of late, radio is always turned on, pandora.com is usually running when I'm on the computer, MP3 while I'm at work - etc. Not the norm for me really, music, while 'good', never was my 'gotta have'.
Finding myself listening to a lot of different stuff of late, ranging from my old favorites of the 80's (yeah, love that stuff to be honest), Korn (I listened to them in the past, but recently I've just had their stuff going relentlesly) and Blues, Jazz and Swing (sort of all over the place aren't I ...).
Here is a group that I just recently got put onto that I find that I really like. They are a few years old, but new to me. Good stuff.

@FF- Have you heard the Reverend Horton Heat? Great rockabilly, and an awesome live show. If he comes to town, go see. Try "The Full Custom Gospels Sounds of..." for a good starter album.
I've been listening to a lot of 16 Horsepower, who now sadly have broken up! Oh well...

I listen to a variety of things in the car.
Usually books on tape - just finished one about John Adams.
Lately I've been in the mood for Country.
Don't know who sang it, but turned on the radio the other day to hear this lyric:
"She can hold her own at a champaigne brunch
toss back jello shooters with Smirnof
But tequila makes her clothes fall off."
Gotta love country lyrics.

Hound Dog Taylor, "Gimme back My Wig" Honey now let your head go bald...
Tonight I'm going out to listen to my little brother's band, Chosen Homeless (http://myspace.com/chosenhomeless1). The last show of theirs I went to really rocked, so I'm very much looking forward to tonight. Now I'm just waiting for them to get a cd with more of their current stuff out. As for their music style, it reminds me of Evanescence.
As for random stuff I listen to during the day, it's really eclectic. A lot of melodic female vocalists like Sarah McLaughlin, Loreena McKennit, Dido, Anna Nalick... mixed in with things like Matchbox 20, 3 Doors Down, Evanescence and Nicklback. Add a liberal smattering of Leanard Cohen and Sting and you have my typical mix these days. Hasn't changed much in a while honesty. I'll occssionally find something new and different to drop in to the mix. Devotchka is my current new odd ball that I really like. It's kinda like if you took russian Gypsy music, music from an old western movie and circus muic and combined it all into one. It's great. :)

Hey Noel,
Wife and I were listening to your brothers band (crap, I'm drunk and really having to work on spelling). Can you get us a CD of his stuff? Like the vocals of the girl we listened to and the music. Can swag you for something if need be.
I'll see what I can do for ya. Heading out now. :)

Lately I've been listening mostly to electronic music with extreme, f***ed-up beats or really dark ambient stuff (excellent when painting).
At the moment I'm listening to a 12" record by a Dutch duo called "Servants of the Apocalyptic Goat Rave" :D. It's cheesy horror film music with monstrous beats!
But, I have a pretty wide range of music that I listen to...

That's like saying you prefered the first world war to the second one :D (By the way, It's Rammstein ;))
OK, enough poking fun at German music :D At the moment I listen mostly to King Diamond. Now he's got a vocal range!
