The Iron Painter, season 6 is now in the books. The season was incredibly long and grueling. Not only for the contestants, but for the judges, fans, and of course the Moderator!!!

Thank you, everyone! This was very pleasant news after a weekend of tough yardwork out at the lakes that had been ignored for so long. ;-)

Great battle, Bex, especially as I'm a big fan of yours! Also thank you to all of my opponents and fellow participants, including Supervike, a host without compare! Iron Painter both pushes us outside our technical boxes and keeps us on our creative toes, and it's certainly the only place we can let our imaginations loose without limits. Grueling and grinding and the most fun comp anywhere.

A special thanks to my family, Cassie and Nightshade, and Crystal Cat. They put up with soooooooo much these past few months.

So now the title is back in female hands, back with IMMPS, and I have now vindicated myself after my initial run of 1 round in this comp. AND I don't have to fear what Skya would do to me if I'd lost.

Skya From out of nowhere came Skya (at least Wryd speaking) She grabbed the crown! Now always a fierce competitor, and favorite.

Skya still our only double winner...does she crave to retain that glory?

Wren Fending off challenges, Wren proved her metal.

Bexley The first 'man' winner. But honestly, who could have stood against this champion?

Paintminion with quiet, deadly skills, Paintminion vanquished all her foes, claiming the crown again for the fairer sex.

Have to admit I think I scored Bex maybe a point more but that was influenced by the fact that I a fan of guard... Good job I wasn't on the official panel this time....

But No doubt about it one tough cookie to score and a great final.. The pair have you have been greatinspiration throughout the comp.

Everyone who has entered has mad this comp the usual feast it is and the variety cleverness and skill in execution of ideas just make it great fun to watch but I really must crack my knuckles and break out the paints for next time..

If you participated in a round of Iron Painter, you got your name in a bucket. The more rounds you survived, the mores chances you got. If you participated in the I THINK I CAN, your name went in the bucket. IF you were a guest judge, your name went in the bucket. If I thought you participated well in the 'smack talk' your name went in the bucket.....What I am saying is the more you were involved in the event of the Iron Painter, the more chances you got.
