That's right! We've entered the big world of Facebook and Twitter. While most things Wyrd will still be happening right here on this site, there will be added content, teasers, reminders, etc, that you'll find through these other two.

We want to release it too! but we figure we best actually be ready to ship them out first.

You don't have to take that Nathan! I just got one about a year ago and I don't use it NEARLY as much as some people think is necessary to live. There are people that are addicted to cell phones, then there are people who realize....its a phone.

Heh, bit of info about me.

I HATE phones. I HATE people that talk on them constantly. I HATE folks that walk around with those little jawbone things.

Guess who I am now? Yup, you got it, one of those people I've vehemently disliked for all of these years. Fact is, Wyrd has gone from something that was done on the side years ago, to a full time output for several people and I'm one of the folks at the apex looking it all over and keeping things going one way or heading off disaster the other (I over simplify, but you get the idea).

I find now that I'm tied to the house entirely too much on my time away from the bread and butter job, so much so that I tell the family to go without me as I've got to answer this e-mail or fix this on the server, or follow up on such and such. Basically, got a bit crazy, I've missed more than a few outings with the family, and when I DO decide to go out, things decide right then and there to go to hell and I come back to find that the server has been shut down the day that I've been away or something else that required my attention has suffered.

That's where the iPhone comes in now. I can talk and do errands as I need to now, there are some seriously neat apps that you can get for it that allows for doing all sorts of business related activities as well as reminders and to-do lists. I can check the website, get e-mail, read and respond to PM's and with the new web server we're moving to this week (yaaay) they even have a personalized app where I can maintain the server while I'm on the go and if something goes wrong with it, sit down somewhere for a few minutes with the iPhone and reboot the server, add accounts, whatever.

REALLY going to be a bit help to me. First time I've ever been excited about a phone (granted, its more a mini computer now) and I'm looking forward to being able to grab back some of my mobility due to it.

I decided that I needed a Twitter account so that I could be one step ahead of Nathan. Now that he has a cell phone, he's almost caught up to me in the race to technologically evolve.

Also, I thought I'd ride on the coat-tails of Wyrd's social networking.
