Confrontation miscasts?

Hey everyone!

My husband got some Confrontation minis for his birthday today and as he's cleaning them he's found two with some casting problems (alot of extra "flash" that has obscured all details on some leg plates - it looks like metal leaked around at the mold line and left a big blob of metal behind) on a few of the models.

Is there anyone to contact for a replacement? Has anyone ever successfully gotten a replacement from Rackham for a bad mini?

I'd say contact Rackham! A lot of their older minis suffer from these problems. I think the moulds are getting worn out. They should be aware of this situation.

Where did you buy the minis from? You could try contacting the store you bought them from also.

If you got it from the official online store, they should have an english service. But if you need some help sending them a french message, feel free to ask ;).

Rackham is great for returns! Just send them a mail and they'll replace the minis in no time.

I purchased them from a LGS. I'll start with them.

Do I need to go to www.rackham.fr and find an english email, or is there an english website I don't know about? I've meandered around there a bit and haven't found an english contact - I did find a link that popped up my email box to send an email to info@rackham.fr, but I don't want to send them an email in English if it's not meant for english-speakers - seems rude to just start talking english at people without making sure they'll understand it first. :)

If you're going to contact Rackham it's probably better to go to the Rackham Store (http://www.rackham-store.com) and search for contact details there. But start at your LGS, since you bought the minis there. My LGS have good experiences from dealing with Rackham.

I think every rackham mini I've had has had poor casting. I've probably gotten around 5 or 6 and some were not good at all. The pewter is too soft too in my opinion. Oh well, at least the sculpts are top notch.
