I was having a moment and going through the Apple Movie trailers and there was a link to go watch 'Slithers'. Hey I like these sorts of movies usually, renters in general though, not in the movies.

Some rather well known names and faces in this movie though - how in the HELL did they manage that?

I don't know what to say really... I don't know if I should laugh or cry... That sort of crap makes me want to get drunk!

The fact that The Fast and the Furious is a successful movie series is what frightens me.

I saw an add the other day that said "Paul Whatever from Fast/Furious in his greatest acting yet..." Talk about faint praise. To be out-acted by that neanderthal from the first one...sheesh!

Dear sir, the movie mentioned is being directed by Uwe Boll. I rest my case.

I've never seen any Uwe Boll films. Those are the type of films I subconsciously filter out when I'm browsing the titles at the video store. I don't even register their presence! :)

They're never shown in the theatres here either...

You better hurry up and see it then, so you won't miss it! :tongue2:

I doubt we'll be seeing this in the theatres here in Sweden. That is straight-to-video material if ever there was any...

well if it does make it to April 8th I can catch it while in LA after I turn in entries while waiting to hear results, lol

So you think it would kill more or less brain cells than hanging out with all the smelly gamer-boys at the GD

After seeing that trailer, I am convinced that has to be some sort of comedy...or at least a parody...

at least I hope so.

I suspect Slither will have an excellent opening weekend due to a bunch of Browncoats (firefly fans) turning out to support their Captain (Nathan F). Therefore, I give it until April 14th. :2:

Wow, I just actually saw an add for this on TV, who the hell is giving these people additional budget to market this thing. If there are people who really want to give their money away, I'll be happy to open my heart, and wallet to them!

Its on the internet, the TV and now on the radio, as I was driving to work yesterday and heard an ad for it. They are spending money like crazy advertising this thing.

That being said, they did say 'scary and funny' in the radio ad, so I think it is meant to be a bit of a spoof perhaps, like Scary Movie or the like. Dunno, still, doesn't much do it for me I have to admit.
