To date this is my favorite one, the eyes being completely alien which appeals to me. The only thing I don't like about this miniature (and that's the miniature, not the painting) is the base that it comes on. I'll likely pick one of these up here in the future and remove the base completely.

LOL thats acually my base I took a wooden disk and sculpted sculpy floor. It comes with a square plastic base. I just made this because I wanted it flocked like a dungeon. I did make two that I'll be posting soon with different bases. One has a brick floor another has a cave look. here is the image from there on-line store you can see the base.

Now I have a moment of moral aggrivation - delete all signs of this post completely or just take the egg. Damnit .. I like ommlets.

Ok, well in that case, I don't like your base for it, and that's good, cause now I don't have to dremel the damn thing off! Its more of a personal preference but I find that I really like the round beveled bases (such as the ones Wyrd uses) and for the dungeon floor I think I would have gone with something more like cracked tile, etc.

For example - this is my Crypt Worm, but the floor appeals more to me in general. Again, its just personal preference.

did you sculpt the floor. Also I'll pick some of those bases up in your store. Personally I love the bevels its just hard to get them wholesale :D

The miniature is a Mage Knight Metals Crypt Worm. I got it in a painting exchange and to be honest, was really not impressed with it, but in the spirit of the exchange decided to go ahead and paint it up. It is now one of my favorites - nothing really special, but I like the colors.

The base is from Epicast though I'm not sure if they really do buisness any longer to be honest. The bases in the Wyrd store are from Groundforge (the resin ones) and of course we wholesale buy the premium bases (oy'! and pay through the nose to get them from the UK).
