Hi, anyone who might read this,
I live in Belgium and i just discovered the wyrd miniatures one week ago. At the very first look on those weird cowboys, i asked one of my friend to order me one fistfull of models and now, i just can't wait to receive them at home so am i building small scratch wild west houses to kill the time.
What else can I say to introduce myself? Well, I'm a european comic drawner, I'm the happy father of three kids and my seven years old son is thrilled with that small cowboy town that is growing in our livingroom.
Happy to join the community,
Etienne.

WELCOME To The Wyrd[est] Forum! I hope you enjoy your stay. HAVE FUN! :gunman:

The Western Town sounds COOL. I'll bet your 7 year old thinks the living room is turning into Heaven.

Welcome to the forums! And to echo Jabber's request, please post some pics of it, even if it's still a work-in-progress.

Welcome to Wyrd - looking forward to seeing this town you are working on - heck, curious to the type of artwork you do for comics as well!

For the town, you might wait untill i've finished more then one house and three cardboxes... I've run out of timbering last night...
For the comics, feel free to have a look at my blog: http://willem.paquet.li

Welcome to Wyrd! Although I can't understand a word of it, your comic drawings look wicked! I especially like the thin fella with a big nose!

Nice work, it reminds me a lot of Disney's Robin Hood. you sure you storyboard for Disney? (man i miss the old disney toons when the stuff was all hand drawn and not the evil 3-D-ification of cartoons)

Here are the two fisrt houses i finished for Malifaux. I will add wooden catwalks later.
The house on the right side is an ancient model i never finished but i think it can fit to the odd buildings of Malifaux wich seem to be a very old town.
Next réalisations will be the sherrif's office, the saloon, a water tower and a gallows....

Well, THAT'S a mighty fine looking town, Pilgrim! Very nice piece of work there; this is going to be a treat to watch grow. Keep up the good work [or ELSE :squint:].

Here's a new view of my growing wild west town.
After seeing the Malifaux demo on youtube, i feel like adding more steampunk devices to those buildings...
Oh, by the way, i must tell that my two older kids (8 and 7 years old) helped me gluing the timbering on some houses... This is why it goes so fast...

Ha! You must be the coolest dad ever! I bet your kids love stuff like this... I know I did as a child(and still do). Not sure if you have any pets but I can picture my cat strutting down main street flipping her tail, ready to attack!
I like the gallows, I built a watertower to and I think it will add a nice vertical element to the board.
What type of wood do you use? Do you plan on painting it? Color looks good as is, but I'm nervous to start painting all this balsa wood and was fishing for pointers.

Wow- that's really awesome. I've always wanted really cool terrain for minis games, but I've never actually finished any. Keep it up!!!
