This one appeals to me on many levels and will certainly be one that I pick up in the future.
Well, if I get to painting any time soon ... (grrr).

big chunky monster? A bit cartoony, but still pretty cool.

Yeah, a bit cartoony I agree, but I really like my trolls and some of the other creatures/monsters in this style, really appeals to me in general and I like the over the top look.
Paint job helps it out a great deal too.

ok, it's funny, I was watching the Gorillaz video just earlier today, and of course it's all animated, and they have dirty and split nails on the lead singer...and I was thinking, that would be a cool effect to paint on a mini, but what mini would ever have nails big enough to try it on...
well, here you go!
not bad, I'm not a monster guy really, but much better than most of their crap recently...er minis.

Looks like a cross between one of those Vor critters and something Heresy would do but boy does he have character! The paint job is great but maybe if he had been standing on his right leg's front toes he might have looked even more dynamic.

Definitely gonna buy this baby...and cover his claws and teeth with Woodland Scenics Water Effects (blooddrops) and paint them with loads of Tamiya Clear Red+Chaos Black

Not fond of the gigantic hands, but for a monster he's pretty scary.
Sort of thing that might come at you in a nightmare.

I was thinking the same thing, Vince. Perhaps it is the colors, but he reminds me of something from the animated film Monsters, Inc.

I like this one quite a bit. Lots of painting scope on him.

Hell yeah! That's what I'm talking about! I've been waiting on this one. I can see it a little greener maybe, Incredible Hulk-like. What a fun model!
