I have been lurking a good bit here already and it looks like this is a good community. ok, so a little about me. I have been painting for a solid 4 years I think, I forget how long so thats an estimate. I have won a few awards at various conventions all the while meeting a bunch of really awesome people with many things to teach. I will probably post here for criticism in the near future to see what else I can learn. Thanks!

Nice to have you here, can't wait to see some of your work. We have a lot of really talented people here who can offer you some constructive criticism and lots of praise when you post something really nice :)

Wyrd has a great line of their own miniatures as well, and a new skirmish game that is just now going into beta - so it should be out before too terribly long. Its shaping up to be a pretty good game from the early previews we've seen and heard about so far.

Anyways look forward to seeing some of your work.. Get something done for Rotten Harvest.. closing date 31st Oct .. great comp and the feedback you get in the comps is massive......

welcome, and yeah, paint for the contests here, it's a great way to get a ton of feedback and win all sorts of prizes...which happen to be more miniatures to paint :)
