This raises an interesting question.

Is the environment itself hostile? Beyond the obvious cave-ins and the like of course. Are there any areas that eat people? Caustic mists? Carnivorous plants?

They would all represent some interesting terrain projects. <wink wink nudge nudge>

Wow. That's the first I've heard of the train that connects "regular" Earth and Malifaux. (I'm outta the loop).

So is the train used to ship soulstones? And if so, does that make it the Soul Train??? :D

There is mention of the train in Wyrd Chronicles 2.
The bit with the archanist who gets caught by the guild. There is an aristo lady that tags along with the archanist and she has a bit of a flashback about the trip over.

I'm not sure about much, but the fellow on the right seems awfully shifty.

It's wht keeps catching his attention off screen that's got me puzzled.. Is Nathan prodding him with a stick or is Eric just camera shy??? could explain the pubic mask he's wearing....;)

That was really why I posted the regarding the 'shifty' look.

But in Eric's defense it has to be extremely uncomfortable talking to a camera like that. I would have just curled up into a fetal position and sobbed.

Which is actually very similar to my wedding video.

I'm with ya there I think the guys did a great job.. I hate the whole talking to a camera thing .....I hate even more seeing myself on film afterwards...sucks..

I think Eric and Nick did a great job in the video explaining the basic background and atmosphere of Malifaux. There's a lot that's still "in flux", but they laid it out pretty well.

Yeah, everyone got on the video this year other than myself, I all but threw the henchman and minions to the hordes as I headed the other direction.

always glad to see more wyrd videos going up...although I have yet to watch any of them, due to the fact I seem to be on camera most of the time, I'm still happy to get the word out about Malifaux! :)

I have to say, that it was a great presentation, and even I understood the basic of the game machanic... Job well done...

I hope you (not Eric, but rather Malifaux :)) will have a great popularity and that even I, gamer from the Third World country, can buy your products...

Did anyone shoot a video of a demo being run at GenCon on that great board??

(and I am patiently waiting for that promised battle report!?!)
