Lady J's a great starting point, and still played as much today as she was when we first got her! Starter set plays well and has some cool additions once you get going.

Where abouts are you - we may be able to find you some local players.

I'm right between Wolverhampton and Birmingham, that would be good, although I haven't even read the rulebook yet

There are certainly some players in Redditch (http://forum.redwarsoc.com/index.php) playing at Total Wargamer. Also try contacting 'leggo' on here.

I'm a bit far away really, though did run demos at UK Games Expo recently.

The New Player's Lounge is pretty new on the boards, so you may not get a lot of action here. I suggest perusing the Guild area of the Faction Discussions and maybe posting a thread in there.....you'll get tons of advice there....believe me.

Also check the Wiki.....there's a ton of info on there:

Lastly, welcome! Lady J is great, I've played her many times........2012 is the year of the RAM!!!

Isn't that my line? :)

Welcome to the game. Like others have said, pullmyfinger is a great resource and the new player section is just getting started but we are hoping to grow it.

Also you can always ask us questions here, we are a mostly friendly bunch.
