Hello all!

Well I'm still trying variations for my board and did something a little complex to play but fun, with bridges, it had a bit a feel of a slum town with suspended houses kinda thing:

However, I wanted to have a semi-permanent build which would save me time. So I decided to make a 3-sets-in-one build: ground floor only play with mainly sewer system and a few outdoors area, a non-basement play floor including bigger outside areas as well as houses, and the houses floor which can be used independently on a grass table to make a little village. The table is a 3x3' and I used one set of each, and 3 full boxes of clips (I maxed the use of clips to make everything really sturdy and able to be moved around without breaking). The base of the board is made of 4 quarters, making it easy to split and stack under the wardrobes :)

Here is the final thing:

Adding levels:

Dang, that's fantastic work! I should pick up the Sewers set finally (to have all three ourselves) and another box or two of clips.

Really nice work, and I like the forethought that went into storage and modularity.

Thanks guys!
Yes, marital life did require me to develop good filing and packing skills :D

I think I will get one more pack of clips in the future (to have 4 in total) as I feel the extra few will help building strong stuff where needed without having to compromise too much (interestingly though, by planning well this build I also managed better my clips than before)

very nice board - when I next redesign mine I will try something similar in feel. I also keep mine modular for transport - but mine has to become 6 blocks of 2x3 big squares to fit into its tub.

this limits my designs a little, but not too much :)

Yes Joel playing on your board inspired me to do this 4 parts build, so thanks! :)

That is a pretty sweet layout. I never thought about using the Balconies to create angled walkways like you have.

Absolutely fantastic. I love the four split bases idea.

Amazing work! If only we could get you to Gen Con to help us set up a display like that!

The bridges look great, really give that 3d feel to it all and the overall planning is really what seems to make it work and flow perfectly together.
