Official Dead Heat Campaign Rules

Welcome to Dead Heat, the first ever official worldwide Malifaux campaign! This campaign will run from June 15th to August 26th 2012, and the winning faction will receive an alternate sculpt of their henchman model(s).

The carnage is being reported on by the Breachside Broadcasting Company, and in-character radio updates of campaign happenings can be found at: Breachside.coda.net every Sunday.

Here are the rules and a sheet to log your games to give to your local henchman. Download them and get started!

6/22/12 Campaign Updated
From now on, when the Attacker wins they will score 2 sector points and when the Defender wins they will score 1 sector point. The fighting is starting to get fierce!

Also, there is a special strategy, Thirst, which you can use while fighting over sector 2. See the attachment below for more details.

Quick question - is there a typo in the Resurrectionist sector points in the Campaign Map thread (http://www.wyrd-games.net/showthread.php?32323-Campaign-Map-and-Sector-Points)? It shows them as having 50 sector points in the Southgate, which is an Arcanist territory.
Or is this a response to how underpowered Rezzers are meant to be *grin*:Hiding_Puppet:

It says search for a card with a printed Crow. Do you:

A) Search from the top down and take the first one that comes up

or

B) Look at the entire deck and pick the card they want to take

See if Justin would let you send reports to an out of area henchman via E-mail or PM. If there is no henchman in your area, I imagine Justin would let you report to an out of area Henchman rather than exclude you.

Running London tournaments between clubs; this is exactly the sort of event I love for getting some social gaming between different areas. May make efforts for a slow-grow league to go alongside too (brawls could be fun with this format)

Can't wait to play, just need to find out if some of the closer henchmen will accept E-mails. We tried for a henchman locally and were told there were too many in our area. Hopefully one of the Cincinnati fellas will accept e-mails.

I would like to encourage everyone who can to talk with their clubs and arrange for tournaments or cross-club events. While I know I am lucky to be in London where there are a billion different clubs; this is an amazing opportunity to build community and get lots of games in!


Every game counts! Maybe you could arrange to play on Skype even. I know I'll be doing store events, and visiting universities to do games with their Wargames Societies.

Look for new or interesting opportunities to play new players or meet new people and spread the word about Malifaux; everyone you recruit to your side is another potential point in a victory, or someone to fail for your enemy ;D

In my neck of the woods Molly is the most played Henchman as a Leader; in tournaments I have attended in this country and Holland I found Ophelia to represent most as a Leader
