Now, fellow Guilders, its going to be pretty damn embarrassing if we start losing parts of our city to those upstart Arcanists, dirty Outcasts, and especially those Corpse Loving Resurrectionists. And lets not even mention those unwashed natives the plebes are referring to as Neverborn.

So who's ready to step to the front and lead the efforts to protect the city?

The only thing worse than a bunch of Resurrectionists is a bunch of organized Resurrectionists.

Guild Leadership does not step to the front, it takes control and just issues orders.

So this is how its going to work maggots!

We will be getting our marching orders Friday. I will be posting our coordinated attack strategies once a week(or more often if we have issues)

Expect the following three things

1) A Priority target Faction - This is the faction that we want to play most in the week.

2) Sector Priority for each faction

3) Special advice or strategy

Of course no one has to listen to my supreme authority as Governor General of the Year of the Ram but if you don't and we lose this then you have none but yourself to blame.

Lets keep this thread as a general war council area were people post in who is declaring for Guild and any advice or suggestions.

We can win this if we all pull together and beat some heads. So who's with me!

Not much chance of that, we are too busy complaining about our models.

I can't swear to play nothing other than [insert relevant faction here], but when I do play [insert relevant faction here], I'll be sure to follow the marching orders of the relevant [insert relevant faction here] leaders.

It is dangerously close to "go time", and I'll be throwing my hat in with the fine folks of the Guild.

On my miniature table...

Mister C. Hoffman and his constructs will be happy to step to the front for you!

Perdita and Lady Justice are prepared to back him up.

Sonnia has a burning desire to participate...um...does she really still work for the Guild?

All I have built/painted are guild models and mercs that work well with them, so I'll be playing them for sure!

Reporting in as the sole Guild representation at Myraid Games in Manchester NH. I might be joined by Russ from D6G as he did get his Perdita crew to the table this week for his first 2 games in a while. All current released guild assets are available for deployment. Standing by for orders.

I am really looking forward to this.

Sounds like one of those know-it-all Outcasts.

I'll be continuing my support of the Guild, and Perdita has agreed to add ger support (as long as I paint her first!).

So, what are we going after first? I'm asking because this thing starts tomorrow.

Well when you start rounding up the riff raff its best to start with the outskirts of society.

So Target for week 1 is Outcasts. So play an outcast player if you can.

Choice for targets -Little Kingdom and surrounding Slums. The Guild has tired of these Ten Thunder rumors and wants this place brought back into line. Plus sanitation has informed us that the area has become infested with all sorts of Vermin. The standard 4 legged fury kind and the short, green 2 legged kind.

Wipe them out, all of them!

If you can't find an Outcast target then the Priority sectors for the other factions are as followed

Arcanist - Industrial Zone = We have heard of Union organizers striking in the area. In this time of great turmoil every man must do his part. Lets make sure they get back to work.
Res - Southern Slums = The inhabitants of the Southern Slums have reported an increase in unsavory activities involving dead bodies. We need to send a full contigent of Death Marshals in to investigate
Neverborn - Southern Docks District (Quarantined) = The South Dock District has been quarantined for way to long. Get a team out there and clean out any native threat you find.

I will keep you all posted based on the first weeks activities.

I will be out of the country, I mean, back to earth side for the next 2 weeks, but I will be back with new reinforcements and ready to crush anyone that dares to rise against us!

So, details have been announced! And because I roll Guild, you guys get what I've spread to my friends.

http://theaethervox.com/

In brief:

- Will take place from June 15th to August 26th.

- Map based.

- Games at home, store, wherever count, are reported to local Henchmen.

- Game outcomes determine who holds what territory on the map ( http://breachside.coda.net/ )

- At the end, the faction with the most area wins, and will get an alt sculpt of their henchmen model.

- Each week, the map will update, and the podcasts will reflect what is occurring.

- At the start, each faction controls 3 sectors (noted on the map who has where). Each sector is worth a different amount of points (1, 2 and 3).

- Big 3 point sectors have special rules. Like defenders get a bonus (eg: on the Ressurectionist 3 point board, they start with 5 corpse counters in play, and can be discarded to search your deck for any Crow card, reveal). Guild get to add Rams to duel totals for more critical strikes, etc. Neverborn: can score points on one unannounced scheme as though it had been announced (O.O). Outcasts: can add 2 soulstones to their pool, can put you above normal SS cap for game. Arcanists: defending player draws an extra card during draw phase, discards a card of their choice.

**Note: there were further caveats about the details on the special zones. It's late so I can't really justify hunting through and updating, so consider these to be general info, not absolutes.

- after selecting factions, there's an additional flip. Highest flipping player chooses Attacker or Defender. Attacker chooses one of the Defender's territories. A win gives one point to Attacker's faction in that territory. Can't play same faction.

I been practicin' wit my guildies in preperation for a trip to Indianapolis, so I reckon I'll be fighting alongside ya'all. Course taint like it was much o' choice, every right thinkin' person prefers cowboys to pretty much everythin' else.

And if it's Outcasts we need to be shootin', well, they bleed just as good as anythin' else. So I reckon I can put a couple o' warnin' shots through their heads.

Hey, I'm near Myriad Games! About 45 minutes away... and I've never actually played a game of Malifaux though I've read the rules. I have Guild models though, and that's a start...

Notch up a win for the Guild last night in a tough fought game against the Viks. 2-0 in a very fun and evenly fought match. Defense of Northern NCZ.
