Congratulations to each and every one of you! If you see your name above, please send a PM to Frustrated Father (http://wyrd-games.net/private.php?do=newpm&u=1) here on the site and give me your address and all the details that I need for shipping your package or getting your gift certificate to you. Read that last sentence again - PM me, don't e-mail me, PM me. It is how I keep track of information and e-mails are liable to get mixed up amongst the hundred or so I get a day. Even if you think that I already have this information, please send it. It helps me organize things on this end and confirms that your package is sent to your current address. Please be aware that I can not spend a grossly large amount of time in trying to contact folks who do not send their information to me as has been the case multiple times in past contests. If you want your goodies drop me a line.
The Wyrd Painting Contest prize packages are sent at my expense, and happily so, but as you can see above, there are quite a few packages to send out. In order to make this as cost effective as possible, I ship everything 'slow boat', meaning the cheapest cost. If you are interested in upgrading your package to priority or airmail for overseas, you are free to make a donation of $3USD to the shipping fund via paypal (nathan@wyrd-games.net (nathan@wyrd-games.net)). Keep in mind now, that this is COMPLETELY optional, this isn't a 'pad my pockets' scheme, its just available for those of you that want your goodies quicker. Either way, I will be sending out your package at my cost.
We at Wyrd Miniatures would like to thank everyone who joined in this contest, from those that entered, left comments, voted or just browsed the enteries. Thanks go out to you all and we hope that you enjoyed this round of Wyrd contests and join us for the next one!
Till next time!

Congrats winners!
Congratulations to all the winners! I think there were several regular entrants who pushed themselves up a notch and were rewarded for their efforts and that is so great to see. Thanks a bunch to Nathan for all the work and prizes! And thanks also to any Wyrd minions who helped him with admin stuff.
There were several comments on my entry from people who seemed interested in the layered metallics and inks technique I mentioned using. Would people be interested in me doing a tutorial class on here for that? I wouldn't be able to start it up until after GenCon, but that's not long off now.

Congrats to the winners. Like Wren said, its nice to see those who kept on painting and improving and finally winning.
I only manged 1 entry this time due to my hectic schedule. This also has taking its toil on my brain as I had submitted what is supposingly a female model. Somehow it never occurred to me that the model is a female probably due to the sculpt itself but being a Rackham fan myself that's unforgivable.
lol, I guess you can console yourself with the thought that most days you really don't live up to your board alias name? ;->

@Stupidcow, it was a shame cos I loved that entry, some paint job.

Me too. If it would have been a diorama with a male, I would probably have voted for Best of Show and also Best model in the category as I loved the model. But the fact it was a female stopped me from voting.
Congratulations to all winners by the way!!

It's quite difficult to see it on that mini itself, but when you look at the same character in human form it's pretty obvious.

And, yes, Stupidcow should have known better being the Rackham freak that he is! ;) Well, sometimes you just don't see the obvious things. Happens to all of us! Better luck next time! :)

congradulations to the winners. This was the first time I've voted in one of the contsests, so those of you who won for the the frist time, obviously owe it to my vote. :)
And thank you to EVERYONE who entered. I loved seeing your stuff, and have been inspired to really get back into painting and try to actually enter some of my stuff in contests.

Ok thats what happened, you took a hit because the mini is female  I was thinking you had been robbed after not placing, but I guess there is a good reason.
Anyway congrats to all the winners, I enjoyed seeing the entries.

I can't beleive that so many people don't realize that both males and females have testosterone in them. And she looked to have the Total Testosterone package in use.
Still, Congrats to all those who entered and double to the winners....
I only have one other thing to say....
Iron....
Congratz to everybody and thanks to Wyrd, I really enjoy the fact of being able to see so many cool minis from different producers.

Welcome all, and again, thanks.
I have to admit that I have a lot of fun seeing some folks really push themselves and progress over the last year, almost two years that we've been running these and want to thank everyone again for participating and for those of you that have lurked in the corners that have come out and voted and commented. Welcome to Wyrd - see a few new faces in the crowd and that of course is always a good thing. Come on .. you know you want to drag your friends and family here ... might have to make it manditory .. :D
Just a heads up, I've gotten about 60 PM's over the last day or so and I haven't responded to a one of them yet due to being up to my eyeballs in work for the convention around the corner. I'll try and get everyone responded to here as quickly as possible - just didn't want anyone to think they were being snubbed or forgotten.

no worries Nathan, just stick a couple of the new releases in my prize package and it'll all be forgiven! ;)

well I had no idea that mini was a chick stupidcow, and you got a vote off me for her!
Man, I would hate to be the guy married to that! (although she does look quite hot in a non mutated hulk smash, pmt time of the month form...)
I can't beleive that so many people don't realize that both males and females have testosterone in them. And she looked to have the Total Testosterone package in use.
I considered the 'is Total Testosterone a state of mind' question when deciding what to do about my voting dilemma on that piece. When I checked the text of the rules it was clearly stated that the figure should be a male figure, so I felt in the absence of any other info to go on I had to vote by the rules despite loving the paint job. :-<

In fact after being pointed out that my entry was a female, I was expecting it to be taken off the contest. Anyway I would like to thank those who had voted for it and posting the comments & feedbacks.
This has reminded me that its the 2nd time that I have violated the contest rule, my 1st being that of TT 2. Maybe I should just wear a big girls blouse and tell myself TT contests are not for me.
I believe you won't make the same mistake for Femme Fatale ;)

Packages are going out for everyone else today on these - I've been so burried under work and preparation for GenCon that I'm having to 'make' the time to do so today. Sorry for the delay.
Last call for anyone that hasn't sent in their address. I don't make it a point to hound after folks and won't do so as after today all contest packages that are being sent out, will have been sent out.

hopefully you got my PM and paypal payment 'cause I didn't get a reply (not a dig by the way, I know you're a busy fella)

Yup, gotcha. I didn't reply to 99% of the PM's as frankly, I'm just too damn knackered to get anything done right now other than packaging and the occasional post on the site while I'm on lunch or something else. If you sent a PM, it got to me, don't worry about that.

Big thanks Nathan - got my voting prize this week. Love the mini (mad scientist guy pulling on his rubber gloves). I've not painted this genre before so will be an interesting experiment (best Mad scientis reference I could think of).
