Every faction gets something, which is fantastic.

I love the new Flesh Construct, personally I think it's a big improvement over the other (slightly goofy) one.

The Drowned look very nice - I'm not sure I'm sold on them in-game yet, but if nothing else they'll make great conversions for Mindless Zombies.

The rate of releases is excellent. Keep up the great work Wyrd!

Same boat. Flesh Construct alt and Drowned for me, beyond that it's gonna be a slow quarter. I'm totally alright with it. I could use a few months to catch up to myself before the next batch is announced.

Alternate Arachnids look pretty cool, will be interesting to see how ARamos turns out.

Overall I love that Wyrd is doing alternatives now. I imagine they'll be an alternative Warpig for Outcasts, Executioner for Guild and Mature Nephilim for Neverborn. All I can say is bring on alternative Myranda/Cerberus =]

guess i'm in the minority but really don't like the Alternate Arachnids, to me they look like they've lost a great deal of character. The up armoured look is too slick for my taste, i'm rather attached to my more ramshackle looking constructs. From the one pic i've seen they don't look as detailed.

The new face area makes them look more Hoffman than Ramos. The lens reminds me a bit of the watcher (ironically the one that isn't borrowed tech).

Each to their own i guess

I like both sculpts about equally. I think Ramos (and hoff...and hell, even Levi) players can make use of a mix of both to break up the the monotony of a ton of the same sculpt.

Would be nice to get a couple more rat sculpts for Hamelin as well (yeah I know they're doing book 1 stuff, but maybe after book 4...I feel like I have too many sculpts of the "leaping" "sitting" and "skull-humping" rat).

Blast it!! I JUST bought an additional Arachinid Swarm and finished assembling them this past week. I don't really NEED any more now (have 3 Swarms and 9 individuals now). Argh...MUST HAVE them though, LOL. I think they look sweet!

Thankfully, my wallet gets a break in November though, which is good, since I've got $600 in car repairs to somehow pay for. November and January will be looking at $50 both months though. Can't wait to get the Ramos Avatar! Dieing to see pics of him too!

Oh, and Sue! And Angelica! Eek!

What I like- almost everything, especially the new Flesh Construct (though somehow I was picturing a Bride of Frankenstein-type....2012 GenCon pack-in, perhaps?).

What I dislike- already ridiculously behind on painting, and buying some of this will only add to the growing pile.

Well, 2 legs are connected to the body, so they are 3 parts total. Relatively tough to assemble though, and probably one of the most common complaints regarding assembly. So, definitely cool to see the new ones will be one piece!

Yes! Sorry, quite right, 3 pieces, the trauma of assembling them and the steamborg fuzzed my memory. If they turn out to be one piece that is a win.

Which does make me wonder if a alternate (easier to build) Steamborg might come along at some stage, giant claws crossed.....

She summon her when she mannefest, if you have her in your crew, she comes in with more Wd's, but you lose the old one

Anybody know of a good wallet sealant that`s proof against even the most urgent purchases and determined monetary leakages?

I realize I'm responding to something several pages back, but:

Belles + The Drowned + Crooked Men + Seamus = Your models go where the hell I tell them to go (Belles are only "directly towards" but The Drowned are 3" in ANY direction!), fall down a hole, get shot and then get turned into Dead Doxies. :dead1:

Hilarity will ensue, trust me.

because of the 50mm base for the Lady Justice Avatar it does sit well balanced on it... I don't see mine having any issues.

Thought the same thing however as Lord Shaper points out she is very well balanced. Of course I would also recommend either a solid 50mm base with metal base insert or adding a large metal washer under the plastic base (1.5" deck bolt washers from Lowes or Home Depot are perfect and cheap).

A good percentage of the Avatars made me think "Oh God, how would you transport that thing for games?"

I thought the same thing until I opened her box and noticed the designer (I am assuming) included a design feature that allows a very novel (read as easy mod) to offset this issue. The Crow and Ram models are each designed to sit in a "cup" in her hands, a few Rare Earth Magnets and you have a beautiful model that still travels well (Pandora on the other hand has me wondering).

(Pandora on the other hand has me wondering).

I replaced the snakey parts with one of the alternate's and rearranged the tentacles to let them curl around her more, therefore making her massivly easier to transport (and way cooler in my opinion^^)

Anyone else think the Lady Justice Avatar sculpt is prone to falling accidents?

Pin it, use a metal base insert and don't drop it!

This was one of those models that I was really excited about. I am gald to see that the model really meets the concept art, however the legs look a little out of proportion to me. Might just be another trick of the camera angle though. These next few months are going to be very expensive for me.

The best part of all this is...soon we will see the Avatar Some'r model. Can hardly wait, bring on the bacon!!!
