Bits/Parts service

maybe I'm the only one that wants this. Also is this the right forum? it's a suggestion for the site but also pertains to miniatures...hmm...anyways...

I understand it takes a bit of infrastructure (having the sufficient stock for bits, determining the correct pricing etc) to do this so it may not be always financially possible, but I would love it if at some point Wyrd offers a parts service for their online store.

It would certainly make it easier for conversions, well more affordable anyways.

Or maybe a parts request service for certain bits, since looking at the minis I currently have on the table a large number a single part molds.

The usual answer with small companies is ebay. There are sellers who just buy kits, break them, and sell the bits.

Unlikely with Malifaux, because the minis don't bits well.

Privateer Press still does a bits service on their website.

I would love to be able to buy more of the small dolls Zorida comes with but those are the only bits I can think of .

Oh yeah. I totally understand the difficulty in such a service but it never hurts to ask.

generally I look for things like wings, weapons, bandaged limbs, etc. Generally things that I estimate the price I pay to buy them is a greater value than the time I would have to spend to properly sculpt it.

I do use PPs part service and GW bits with some frequency.

Basically they just need to release more packs like the "Hats and Guns"... that would be easier than them setting up a bits service ;)
