I read in the Resolved Rules forum that someone mimiced the 'shrug off' spell of an Ortega, but (and correct me if I'm wrong) the Doppleganger cannot mimic a (0) spell. However, she could mimic the Witchlings stalker 'Dispell Magic' spell to remove a mimiced effect (in this case the Stitched Together's Does Not Die ability.)

As far as I know the DG can mimic any action, including (0) spells. It's obey that can't be used for a (0) action.

The V2 Doppleganger card reads 'Mimic Spell: Gain 1 (1) Spell possessed by target model. I take this to mean that the Doppleganger can only mimic (1) AP spells. Does anyone know different?

In that case you can't copy a (0) spell, seems straight forward enough to me ;)
