Blood counters

quick question here... came up in a game today... Blood counters . Nekima had one and was killed does she drop the blood counter to be picked up by the shaman for example or is it lost?

I was under the impression they were lost. couldn't find anything with a quick scan of the rules so we flipped and we played you could pick them up..

Counters get dropped on death unless there is a special rule like Coppelius has.


Counters a model gains must be placed where it’s clear they belong to that model. A model removed from the game while carrying Counters places its Counters in a single stack where it was removed from the game.
