View Full Version : Spirit movement in the rules manual

Looking at the rules manual, it appears that the fact that spirits can move through severe terrain without penalty has been removed. My search-fu for clarifications didn't result in anything, so ...
Am I missing something? Spirits now move half through severe terrain?

Here's the clarification that Keltheos posted.

(BTW, the search button is your friend. This has been discussed NUMEROUS times in the past couple weeks ;) )

@Lobo - as stated in my OP, I did search first, but my search-fu was weak.
Thanks!

Ahh, my bad. As it stands, Keltheos' ruling was in a thread about Spirits and Disengaging Strikes, so I can see how you might've passed that one over even if it did come up in your search. My bad. Somehow my reading-fu is weak, as I didn't even see your comment to start with, haha. ;)

That ruling has nothing to do with severe terrain. I don't see how it applies to this question. In that post Keltheos references 'terrain' a few times but is obviously talking about 'impassable terrain' if you read the whole thread.

Oh sheesh...MAN, my reading skills are bad today. Sorry guys. I seem to remember the discussion including severe terrain somewhere. It's pretty easy though, that if a Spirit can ignore things like Walls, why would a little Rubble slow them down. ;)
Should be pretty common sense. ;)

This is the relevant threat you'd want to consult. Please note Ratty's response to the question.

Or you should just click the link you got hours before your discussion about relevant threads. ;)
