Hi. I have a quick question..

Do insignificant models leave scrap/corpse counters when killed? I am guessing they do as I can't find reference to them not doing so.

I would have thought it would make sense that they wouldn't due to lack of raw materials to summon other models...was just considering colettes trick of the hat to create doves and ramos using them for raw parts for arachnids?...turn 1ss into 2ss insignificant model and then into a 3ss regular model at the cost of 2 (0) actions...

Have I got all that right?...

Thanks for any clarification on this

There is no reason they wouldn't, given that they are not Nightmares, Soulless or Spirits.

Thanks for the quick response Ratty. That's what I guessed but just wanted to double check my understanding...I'm very new to malifaux! 2 games to date lol.
Cheers

the flaw in that tactic is if you use 'detonate soulstone' then you are sacrificing a model. A sacrificed model does not generate any counters. So Ramos wouldn't be able to use the dove to enerate a spider. It could only be performed if the dove was killed by other means.

... For instance a Controlled Detonation from Ramos or his Toolkit, which I believe is Drake was considering all along.. ;)
