Throwing a save and transforming into Shikome

Hey all, I have a couple of rule questions if you don't mind helping me out. Sorry if they sound self-evident, but my gaming group's a little new to the game, so some of nit-picky rules are still in question.

1 - The one that's come up the most: Can you target your own units with spells that require a resist (or attack your own units), and can they choose to auto-fail the resist?

The first example that comes to mind is: can you use Lawyer's "Prosecute" to make a friendly beast unfriendly (leaving Marcus available to "Alpha" him). But I have a couple of other scenarios that raise the question (can Pandora throw a WP save against a friendly to move 4" outside of her turn? can a friendly model throw a save to benefit from a free charge or (1) action using Hamelin's "Obey?" etc.)

2 - If a character with "transform", such as Myranda, turns into Shikome, does Shikome's "Single-Minded" go off (giving Myranda a Prey) or does Myranda have to use an (all) action to get a prey?

1) A friendly model can choose to reduce its spell resist total to equal the attacker's total. Page 51 in the RM, if I'm remembering right.

2) No. Shikome picks their target at the beginning of the game, or when summoned. Transformation effects aren't summoning, so no free Prey pick. You'd have to use New Prey to get one in.

Yep, it was page 51 (though that's pretty hidden in there). Thanks a lot, that opens some doors I'd previously set aside because of uncertainty.

Be careful with Pandora however, she can no longer target friendly models with pacify or incite, the only way to get a push from friendly models is to have them target pandora with an attack so that they have to make a wp->wp duel

Spells pandora casts are not wp duels for her, so no push
