Are All Morale Duels Willpower Duels?

I was looking at some of the nightmare abilities to cause morale duels and ping your WP in a willpower duel and I was just wondering, Are all morale duels willpower duels as well because they use the WP stat?

Basically yes.

Any duel that uses a stat is a duel of that State type in addition to whatever else it is.

So Ca -> 12 is a Casting Duel.
Df -> 12 is a Defense Duel
Wp -> 12 is a Willpower Duel etc..

It is important to know that there could be a Morale Duel that is using another stat for the duel. I can't think of any off the top of my head, but it could happen as the game expands ;). A duel is whatever type it is said to be + a duel of its stat type etc etc.

As things stand all morale duels are Wp duels. However, this might not always be true in the future.. In this game you can have multiple tags attached to something, So it could be a Morale Duel, you could be the attacker and it could be a Wp duel all at the same time.

If a strike can/must be made against a stat other than Df, such as Wp is the flip the defender makes still a Defense flip? Coryphee get a bonus card during a Defense flip so this can be quite important. The rules manual calls the two initial flips during a strike Attack and Defense as opposed to Combat and Defense so I don't think it's talking about the stats and is instead referring to the act that is taking place. This leads me to believe that Coryphee gets the bonus card against a strike that uses Wp.

Defence Flips and Df Flips are different things.. I so wish that Defence had been called something different.

A Defence Flip is any flip where you are a Defender.
A Df Flip is one using the Df stat.

yeah Ca Flip is a flip using the Ca stat. Casting Flip is a flip to cast a spell.
