Does the ability to ignore armor ignore bullet proof. Bullet proof sais this model gains armor X vs ranged attack.

Does the ability to ignore armor ignore Object. Object has the same wording as armor but never uses the word armor.

bulletproof gets ignored, object does not.

The key is that Armor reduces Dg, while Object reduces Wds.

And yes, Bulletproof and Magic Resistance are now worded such that the model gains Armor +# against those certain types of attacks. So, for instance, Ramos' spell Electrical Fire, which ignores Armor, would ignore both the Regular Armor and the Magicial Resistance of the Freikorps. :thumb:

That is an important distinction and affects how it interacts with many abilities. Abilities that cause Wds instead of Dg bypass Armor because it only reduces incoming Dg. However, its not really the reason Object does not get ignored. For instance if it said it granted Armor that ignored Wds instead of Dg, it would be ignored by abilities that ignore armor but not by abilities that simply cause Wds. The main reason it isn't ignored is because, well you know, it's not armor. :club:
