Riders power stages.

Was looking at playing with some of the riders and noticed they all have different timing on the effects for when they get there powerstage effects. My question is this when do they end. I am curious how others have played them.

Hodded rider he lists he gets x effect at the start of the game. Then durring the turn he can change it. Now if he changes it the effect will last untill he changes it again per the card. But If he does not change it the first turn because there is no listed duration on the effect it would end at the end phase of the first turn?

Dead rider gets his when he activates for the turn. So if he ends a turn with say 3 wounds you could shoot him before he could get slow to die. Nothing on his book stats say the effect lasts.

The arcanist rider says its at the start of the activation he gets the effect. His turn number gets "Set" to a given effect but at the start of a new turn it would turn around and give him a new ability. Should this new stage stick around between turns so you can control it?

For all three, it's the same ability with different effects depending on certain variables. If Hooded Rider is affected by Noon and casts Chase the Sun, it is then affected by Night. It does not revert to noon at the end of the turn

The whole point of the riders is to use and control those stages

I agree on the hooded it says the effect sticks around.(Well when you change it then it says it sticks around) The other 2 say nothing about how long they last.

Well, it doesn't matter much for the Mechanical Rider - she gains the effect of the turn at the start of the activation phase (i.e before anyone can activate) and it would not end until the resolve effects step of the closing phase.

Are their any abilities that could effect her between the resolve effects step and the Activation phase?

It would matter if the effect pulled her back to a prior power stage. Basicly between activations it could lose armor.

It would also effect if late game you could go back to a turn 1-2 power stage.
