McMourning Body Part question

So McMourning can swap soulstones for body parts. Any stones not spent on crew are added to your pool. Your starting pool is 8. Let's say I spend 30 SS on a crew in a 35 SS game. So I would add 5 stones to my pool, with my cache of 6 would be 11 SS. When is it considered my starting pool? Cause I was wondering if those extra 3 stones are available to make body parts.

Your Pool is calculated after hiring by taking your starting Cache and adding what ever left over parts you have to a max of 8(10 for brawls). So no you can't take all those extra body parts.

The maximum number of Soulstones McMourning could have in his starting Pool is 8 (10 for a Brawl). The three extra Soulstones would be lost, they can't be used to convert into Body Parts.
