Specifically the second part. "Charge another model." Is this wording intended to mean that the Steamborg can charge a model, but it must be a different one that the target of the trigger?

general parlance is that another means it can't be the same one as your initial target. Similar to how the Viktorias Whirlwind trigger can't strike the same model as the original strike.

You cannot Charge a model you already have in your melee range. (Page 36 Rules Manual)

That trigger moves your initial target outside of your melee range though.

this is true but another means that... another, not the same one as before.

And this is what I figured, but well, nagging feelings and all...

But like Whirlwind, if Steamborg gets the trigger off again through the charge on the second model, he would then get another charge which could be directed back to the first model.
Wouldn't he?

Yes, Serigala. But since Knock Aside means you deal no damage, its kind of pointless to do it....

It would let you move the first model, move the second model, then hit the first again.
It could be used for clearing the enemy away from objectives, making them drop treasure or pushing them into terrain.
Repositioning enemy models is a powerful ability.

Ah. Sorry, I had gotten confused between the Ronin's Next Target push and the Steamborgs Knock Aside push.

Also, would be a method for getting a :+fate on your damage. Start with your (+1) Melee Expert attack, and if you can manage to get Knock Aside, and then get again on the other guy, then you would be Charging the first model, instead of doing just a regular Melee Strike, so you'd get better chances for high damage.
Moving pieces off Objectives is the best reason though. Or to get them further away from any of your squishy pieces.

Its also so incredibly useful for moving Ramos.

This doesn't work.
After hitting enemy defender with a Executioner Claws Strike inflict no damage. Push defender up to 4" directly away from this model. Charge another model within range. If the Charge is unsuccessful, this models activation ends.

So, that being the case, what's currently the best way to move around the laboriously slow M&SU leader?

Stoke? I believe being headbutted by a large construct is no way to travel.

Don't?
Honestly though, I find I usually use Ramos to create spiders the first 2-3 turns. And then he spends turn 4 or maybe 5 as well, moving a bit. That's 6-12" typically. So, enough to get him near the middle in most games. I find I really don't need to move him more than that. If I have a strategy which requires high movement (Distract) then I just choose a different Master. ;)

True, its was definitely a gamist trick.
As for Stoke... well, at best its very difficult to pull off to the point where its unreliable, and at worst, its a trap that causes you to cannibalize the high Tomes that Ramos' spells require. Its a bad spell to rely on.

I'm considering adding Taelor to my Rasputina crew to Hammerstrike her a bit forward the first turn or two and then to guard her afterwards, not sure if she'll be too expensive for that though.. (Just a few more SS for Snow Storm who'd at a whole lot more speed..)
Edit:
Point was of course that both of those Minions could be used to move Ramos aswell.. Hmm..

It states on the V2, you must charge another model, it's the same as the Mature Nephilim

Yeah, the Hunter would work too.
