When exactly do cards go from play to the discard pile?

If an Austringer uses his Raptor to Distract someone will the card(s) the target used for the Defense flip be in the discard pile before the Austringer puts three cards on top of the targets deck?

If Zoraida attempts to use her Voodoo Pins on someone and flips a high card for the attack duel can she use the same card for the damage flip?

If you get Red Joker in a damage flip do you put it (and any other flipped cards) in your discard pile before flipping the bonus damage flip? (This can matter if your deck is empty and you need to reshuffle.)

I'm writing from memory right now, but you'll find the precise answer both in the Rules Manual and in previous threads on this issue on these forums.

Basically you Discard cards only after you complete the event. In case of a duel, that means going all the way to damage flip. If for example a trigger initiates another attack and another duel, you discard the cards before you start that fresh duel (as it is a new event).

Secondly, if I'm not mistaken, the new rules require you to maintain the order you flip the cards in, when you discard them (the newest on top). Previously it was up to the player to decide what order he discards his cards in.

When the duel is finished.

So my guesses are

If an Austringer uses his Raptor to Distract someone will the card(s) the target used for the Defense flip be in the discard pile before the Austringer puts three cards on top of the targets deck? No, the Trigger is part of the duel.

If Zoraida attempts to use her Voodoo Pins on someone and flips a high card for the attack duel can she use the same card for the damage flip?Yes, attack duel is finished. If the damage flip counts as "part of the game event (strike)", then would it be a No. But iam not sure about this.

No, the Trigger is part of the duel.

In general it depends on the specifics of the activated trigger.

Austringer's Trigger in particular replaces damage flip and as such is part of the event - that means all the cards from the original Strike are still on the table and cannot be discarded before that flip.

There are triggers that initiate altogether a new even though (a new Cast or Strike). Those would resolve as new event, after discarding cards. I imagine that if such an event happened in the middle of a duel, you'd interrupt the duel, resolve the new event competly, discard the cards from the new event and then return to the old event, finish the duel and only then discard these cards.

I'm pretty sure damage flip is part of the Strike/Cast event. I think such a question has been asked recently. In other words, you discard all your cards only after you complete the damage flip. You cannot discard cards from your initial flip, cheat or soulstone flip before damage flip, so Zoraida cannot re-use them.
