Hi
So I was looking at the errata and it says:


(Rst) Resist Duel Required (p.62)
Replace "Friendly models targeted by spells with Resist
Duels in their description can choose to automatically lose
the Duel before generating a starting total; they will
automatically be affected by the spell if this option is
chosen."
With "Friendly models making Resist Duels must resist as
normal, but when determining final totals, can choose to tie
the casting total if the resist total was higher."

However, I could not find that in the malifaux rules manual available for download. So I am not sure if that rule exists or not. (If i just missed it, please let me know where it's at @_@)

I have also read about shooting their own characters and such, if you do do they make DF flips as normal? IE, is the ability to tie only for rst duels from spells? (if that is a rule)

(Rst) Resist Duel Required: If a Rst stat is listed for a Spell, when it is successfully cast any model that could be affected by it must win a Resist Duel (Stat → Final Casting Total) by exceeding the casting total or suffer the spell’s effects. The Resist Duel occurs after the caster has
completed its Casting Duel and successfully cast the Spell. Friendly models that could be affected by Spells requiring Resist Duels must resist as normal, but when determining final totals, can choose to tie the casting total and suffer the Spell’s effects.

Is it sad that I knew this was on page 51

You can only choose to tie with Resist Flips, not Defense Flips

It is in the Spell section, and yes Ratty you are a sad panda.;)

WUWU is right too, but you can still cheat down the defence flip with your fate hand though. Good use for those ones and twos.

I read page 52,53,54 like 3 times, but didn't look on page 51 -_-
