I see in the rules manual where when effects resolve simultaneously you resolve effects that are "must" actions before "may" actions. Do they actually have to use the keywords to fit into this or do you have to guess a bit?
My specific example is a fully wounded stitched together next to a friendly lilitu. The stitched together is sacrificed in the resolved effects step and the lilitu will heal a friendly model in the resolve effects step. Is one a must and may or is the stitched together effectively unkillable while close to a lilitu?

Well in general, you have to just look for the keywords and only when the keywords appear does it happen. Im 99% sure there is no case where it is implied.
For the Stitched Together issue, that wouldn't work and this rule doesn't have any effect =).
The Stitched Together has died once and now Does Not Die! is in effect, even if you heal it to full the effect does not go away and it will be sacrificed at the end of the turn regardless of healing it 1 Wd or 70 Wds.

Gotcha, thanks for the help. Didn't know if the stitched together worked like Bette Noir.

Killed and sacrificed are two keywords to keep an eye on. A model could have 100000 Wd but sacrificing it removes it from the game regardless of the number of remaining Wd.
