How does this work?
A question arose in a post the other day and It piqued my interest. Is a model that is 'Immune to effects requiring it to discard cards' immune to things like Slit Jugular?
To present my case more clearly:
1) An effect like 'Gambler' says, if you lose a dual you must discard the card. So this seems like an effect that the character would be immune to, as it demands that you discard the card, there is no option here.
2) Slit Jugular gives you the option of discarding Cards, Soulstones or, if you so choose, to do neither and die. Certainly, it is not optimal to die, but you are by no means obligated or required to discard cards (you might feel as though you are required too, but the option is in fact there)
Thanks in advance
