Here's a quick scenario to make sure I understand how the new burying rules work.

Rusty Alyce is running with Hoffman's crew and casts Burn Out on a friendly Guardian. For his final activation, the Guild player uses a Death Marshal to bury the Guardian. If the Guardian is kept in the pine box until the end of the following turn, does it still get reduced to 1 WD during the end phase?

The Rules Manual also notes that ongoing spells remain on the buried model. If that spell is scheduled to expire during an end phase when the model is buried, does it still have the spell on it when it re-enters play?

Thanks,
Shawn

It would remain on it,until it became unburied, and then the end phase following it would be reduced to 1 wd. While models are buried, they do not take part in things like end phases, and all active spells remain on the model till they cease being buried.

Not a bad tactic though. You could simply let the Guardian be unburied each round, and then give it Reactivate again. Interesting....will have to look into that idea.
