Nephlim

If I have a nephlim that i "grow" does that count as a kill for my opponet?
We were playing the other night and my friend had "grudge" on my nephlim and i "grew" him and he said that it counted since the model was "removed".

That is incorrect in two ways. When you grow a Nephilim you are replacing it with another model. To top it off Grudge specifically says that your opponent has to kill the model with a melee strike or melee spell.

So basically after you "grew" the nephilim, you took away two VP's from your opponent. Next time he may choose something like the Mature as his grudge :P
