Just noticed in the new book(maybe carried over from old, never noticed before)
Terrifying affects all living(non terrifying) models in range.
I assume this also includes your friendly models, as it does not state overwise that I can find.
This came to light with seamus and his little buddy totem for me when I was looking at deployment.

That is ridicolous..
Lilith running away from her own children? Seems about.. Right?
...
A hundred other stupid examples.
...
Hardly within the RaI.

Hmm.. Just skimmed through the books and the first situation (Mature Nephilim) that struck my mind when I read it is actually also the only one I have a problem with - but I think that's mainly because of how common immunity to Terrifying actually is (rough estimate would be more than half of the models in the game are immune to it... that's too much imo - devaluates the ability somewhat).
Lilith and the rest of the Nephilim really shouldn't fear the Mature Nephilim. The Black Blood Shaman is supposed to be carried by it...

Pandora and her woes aren't immune to terrifying, so why should Lilith be? I wouldn't have considered any neverborn to be scared of anything, but alas they are.
As for reasoning, maybe Lilith knows when not to be near her children as they get really angry. :)
Obviously we need to know for sure, but all I'm saying is, if it is the case, then there can always be a reason.

Just thinking about it more, there are examples of where it definitely would make sense too. Jack Daw for example is never really "hired" in the fluff, he just turns up much to the distrust of those around him.
If I got into a fight and all of a sudden this floating hangy guy appeared I'd be bloody scared of him, whether he was beating the hell out of my opponent or not :D

Bad day to be a ressurectionist master.

Well, bad day to be Mcmourning anyway :D
Guess which Resser master I just bought! I think it would be awesome fun to play it like written, guess we need to find out for sure though!

That wasn't the point I was trying to make - She shouldn't be immune (and neither should all constructs, spirits, undead, etc. - there's too many models immune to terrifying already).
But she shouldn't be afraid of her own child.. ¬_¬

I would disagree there. Did you ever see the film Damien the omen? ;)
Logically, she should be more afraid than anyone else, because she knows exactly what they're capable of :D
Still, I do see your point, and occasionally I do wonder why some things are immune to terror but not others, but if you look at it enough there's always a reason can be found.

By that logic EVERYONE should be goddamn scared of Lilith..
She's the most notorious outlaw in Malifaux.. I doubt anyone's unaware of what she's capable of..

Isn't it supposed to be the point that her power is so strong she makes herself more attractive and alluring than acually terrifying?
Anyway, we digress, lets wait and hope for an answer from a rules marshall :)

Friendly models are not affected by a friendly model's Terrifying Ability.
The reason it doesn't state friendly or enemy is because of Special Events/Terrain that may have Terrifying Effects attached to them.

Aha! Fair crack then, thanks for that.
I neither agreed or disagreed with the original posters point, but I have to say it has opened up a possibility of a fun game at some point! Gonne play it like that sometime with Mcmourning:
Behold, flesh construct! AAARRRGGHHH RUN AWAY! :D

Yay for Liliths justice!
And.. The only minion with Terrifying that McMourning generally only uses is the Rogue Necromancy.. Not that it wouldn't have been bad enough.

Amazingly I thought flesh construct was terrifying :|
I haven't used the good doctor yet though :)
