Now generally I'm a lot more on the ball with posting information about the contest sponsors but we had a heck of an upset here with the computer blowing up and loosing all the information - atleast temporarily. I managed to get a new computer and to pull the information out of the ether and now I'm passing along the information properly. My apologies to those of you looking for the specifics in particular as well as to the sponsors for my being a touch tardy on this.

What type of suckers would we be if we didn't support out contests ourselves? As always we will randomly give out product from our own range of miniatures, including the new stuff which is coming up and which I think is going to open some eyes!
Manufacturers Award: For the 'Best of Wyrd' the winner will receive a $50USD gift certificate which can be used in our online store!

Black Scorpion has been a strong supporter of the contests from early on and once again they have graciously offered their prize support by sending along copies of their snazzy packaged: Intrepid Young Woman with her monkey, Dwarf Noble and one of their latest releases of a creepy looking Alien.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v518/southernphuk/banners/ironwindmetals1.jpg (http://www.ironwindmetals.com/)
Mike and the fellows over at Iron Wind Metals have been very generous in their support of these contests in the past and this time is no different. They sent along a box of thirty-eight of their femme fatales from their very large range of 28mm from chicks with swords to nubians with spears to geisha's in kimono's. A great selection of miniatures and if your an old time RPG geek like myself, you likely had some of these at one time or another. A great walk down memory lane for me.

Everyone knows Cindy by now and if you don't its only because you haven't been gobsmacked with her sculpts of cuteness which she has a tendency to produce. These are the first resin cast miniatures from Magpie that sadly Cindy has found herself alergic too and thus this might be one of the few occasions to get ahold of some of the goodies she's sent along: Toys (Teddybear and Penquin) x2, Small Campfire x2, 30mm premium Dungeon Floor bases (three designs), Small Animals (rabbit, hedgehog and frog) x2, and Small Animals II (rabbit II, bird and cat) x 2.

David of Bronze Age Miniatures is supporting us for the first time and he's sent along a nice large package of goodies, some of which haven't been released as of yet! Now I don't know the names of all of these and many haven't been released yet, but there is a nice selection of 28mm fantasy and 54mm sci-fi with a total of fourteen clamshells with well over twenty-five miniatures between them. A nice surprise to whomever receives them!

The fella's over at Impact Miniatures have been busy this last year and as always, strong supporters of the Wyrd Painting Contests. If you are fantasy football freaks then the goodies they have sent along are going to get you salivating: Anubis Thrower, Referee Red, Anubis Blitzer, Hired Gun Wizard and Beer Garden Beauty with Barrel Pyramid.
Manufacturers Award: With their growing line of miniatures we now have a 'Best of Impact' manufacturers award. The best painted miniature from Impact Miniatures will receive a $25USD gift certificate good for use in their online store.

Crunch Waffle has once again sponsored the contest, also having supported the contests from early on. They've got a nice line building up for you 28mm fanatics with some real gems. The goodies being sent along are: Xiaoli the monk, Colletta Mawr the Centaur and Jihad the Fiendish Celestial.

Better make 30 premium Dungeon Floor bases (three designs) ...
one set of 3 30 mm premium Dungeon Floor bases (three designs) ;)
Don't want people to think I had cast up 30 of them ;)
There are 6 sets in excistance of these (I kept 2 myself) and the chance of me having these cast again is close to zero.
Most of the other stuff will one day likely be recast (likely not in resin and not by me personal, though very likely still for Magpie), but no set plans let alone details on that.

Those bases were great Cindy, hope they re-appear.

What type of suckers would we be if we didn't support out contests ourselves?
A Yellow-Bellied Sapsucker?
... you haven't been gobsmacked with her sculpts of cuteness ...
There's a great way to put it!
Is this all the sponsers or are there others that may join in but just haven't contacted you yet?

All that we've got this time around - from time to time a few others appear, and some others indicated they were interested but never followed up and quite frankly, I'm tired of posting sponsors who never send stuff despite the indication that they will, thus none of them/that up here at the moment until something shows up.
Bit smaller group this time, but that's that, particularly as the Wyrd Painting Contests seemed to have sparked a load of other contests that have cropped up online over the last year (and in all fairness Chick Challenge gave me the idea to start up the Wyrd ones).

Packages went out today. I've been busy - real busy, thus the time in between that has passed before they have gone out. My apologies.
Everyone's package has gone out except for those few that haven't bothered to PM me with their address. Not going to track you folks down as the instructions were on the front page so you've got a week or so to get ahold of me if you would like me to send out your packages.
A ton of you were kind enough to send thank you notes through PM's, I appreciate it. Bunch of you also had some questions or the like and I tried to answer where I could but frankly I'm so tied up these days its not even funny. If I didn't get back to you and you think I should have then please feel free to PM me again.

My package arrived today full of fantastic goodies, most of which I'll be considering as future entries for the next Femme Fatale! Big thanks to Nathan and all the sponsers.

I got my package yesterday. Sheesh, looking at the mailng date, I think the postman walked it here from GA. Contained a couple of Bronze Age minis, which is cool because I didin't have any of those previously, and I always like getting from different companies. Thanks!

Received my package today and...WOW...there was a lot of it in it:
-2 new Wyrd Zombies (exactly the ones I didn't have yet...woohoo!)
-Crunch Waffle Martial Artist (very cool and dynamic pose)
-3 cute Magpie animals (bird, cat and rabbit)
-8 (Yes, eight!) topless chicks. I think they are from Bronze Age Miniatures, but I can't find the sculpts on their website though. I already have a nice diorama with Heresy's Boris planned.
-2 Ral Partha fighters
So, thanks to Nathan for this fantastic contest and great prize support and thanks to all the sponsors. I will e-mail them with my thank-yous.

Welcome folks, hopefully everyone has or should have their packages within the next couple of days.

Ok, I'm a bit late, but it's all the Zombies fault! Last Saturday three Zombies showed up at my door :ahhhhh: - luckily one was the postman (and he was very busy...) and the other two were of the Wyrd variety and safely packed in a little box.
Thanks Nathan. Holding them in my hand I must say the pictures I have seen don't do the sculpts justice - they are very detailed and much more, uhm, wyrd in real life :) Thanks again.
