Hamelin and Ramos???

Hi all,

I just noticed that the search engine doesn´t find a thread that includes both, Hamelin and Ramos. Is there any reason I don´t know? Don´t they work together well/at all? Do I overlook something?
Or is there pretty no synergy between the two?

Are you talking about the Henchman version of Hamelin or the Minion version? I haven't really noticed any synergy with either of them myself, but as a fellow Ramos player, if you've uncovered something significant, then please share with the rest of the class. ;)

New Hamelin and Ramos: impossible, Ht 1 and insignificant only.

Old Hamelin and Ramos: decent, but then again All Living Models take 1 Wd, and a double obay on one target is ALWAYS good.

Well, I´m talking about old Henchman model. I dig the model and therefore I thought about getting one for my – also been built due to looks – ramos crew.

Maybe I should start trying and tell you how it went? There is a 30 SS tournament coming up, my first one. And if I going to take part just for fun, why not trying to get the most fun possible? Being a newbe there is still that excuse of unexperience... :)

For a 9 point model, I think you're better off going with something like Joss or another Arachnid Swarm, but Hamelin's Black Death ought to be rather nice, with most of your other pieces being Constructs, and using Obey on either a Spider Swarm or a Steamborg might not be too bad.

I don't think I'd run him myself, but certainly let us know how it goes!

Don't forget that he would cost 10ss as you are hiring him as a Merc.

I like Hamelin a lot, although he will rarely win you the game, he can hugely frustrate your opponent which is always good value, both in terms of gameplay and fun ! However if I was running Ramos and wanted some Merc support, I would take Alyce.
