Hello!

I painted this fellow up for Crunch Waffle. I was asked to do a bigger and more elaborate base than normal to better convey the idea that he's walking backwards. I sculpted another footprint into the base and chose the stream setting so that I had a reason for making the footprints stand out more. They don't show up great in all the pictures.. =(

I would like to hear what you think of how well I conveyed the message =)

By the way, according to google, a contrary is someone who does everything backwards, and I was told I should see the movie Little Big Man to "get" the sculpt, but I haven't. :)

There are a couple more angles at my webpage (http://www.jubilantcreations.com/contrary.html). If you feel like voting, you can mosey on over to CMON (http://www.coolminiornot.com/142796)

Very nice looking miniature...love the base...as a base can bring the entire miniature more alive and tell a story. Cheers, Chris

Nicely done Jubilee, I particularly like the second picture as the look on the face is well done.

@ Wartoad
You already have an avatar as far as I can see, its a toad with something on the top of it so there is no need to add anything else. As for the rank, after you get your first ten posts on the site you start accruing ranks which raises as your post count reaches certain levels.

Great little piece, Jubilee! Like the others mentioned, the face is excellent. The footprints look good, although admittedly, I don't know if I would have noticed without your mentioning it (I think that is a function of the picture, not the paintjob, though!).
