How many limbs do you like with your minis? These remind me of ultra-detailed Dire Avengers (GW Eldar) but I'm not sure I like the extra arms. Thoughts?

Yeah agree, great looking mini's, but I'd lose the 2nd set of limb's.

I like the helmet alot, the second pair of arms though don't do it for me. Can see some nice paint jobs for this though.

It's the legs that don't do it for me : too stiff. Where did Rackham's legendary dynamics go?

On the UKCORD forums someone compared these to a swiss army knife with all the blades out. :tongue2: I don't like these much. Too bad, because generally I like the Cynwälls... :(

I dont like to pick on figures not being realistic but how the hell can they fight with all those different weapons.
End up chopping himself to bits.

these are funny to me, there is this combination of really nice sculpting and detail, but then elements that I don't like, the extra arms and boring poses. I guess if you have 4 weapons all at once, I got to keep your legs steady under you?

Anyway, not something I'd buy

Heh, I laughed for a bit about the swiss army bit Ritual, that about sums it up perfectly for me.

Like Klute, I try not to get into the whole 'realism' bit with miniatures, but there are some things that I just won't overlook sometimes because it just looks silly to me. Stances that are unachieveable, weapons that will hack oneself to bits, etc.

Obviously you have to take a dose of 'just shut up and enjoy it' such as with the recent Klocke Dark Elf 'strap me up' miniature, but ones like this just get you going 'uh, that's stupid'.

Unless you're a bad ass robot/cyborg from Star Wars, 4 arms coming out of 2 shoulders looks sort of, well...lame

Take off two arms, beef up the waist and put some meat on those legs and it would be a very nice miniature! Yuck now though!

One thing to keep in mind about these minis is that they're constructs, not elves. Basically they are machines.

I still don't like them, though!

Oh, I didn't know they were machines!

Still don't like them though.

How big are these guys supposed to be anyway? And I wonder if anyone's planning on removing their arms and attaching lascannons to use them as Eldar dreadnoughts or something?

These are quite big. I woulg guess they're about the same size as the Centurius Clones for Dirz, that is about 50-60 mm.
