Pandora vs SPA's

If Pandora or some of the models with the Spell "Self Loathing" target a SPA will their ability to heal from the wounds they inflict effectively counter that spell?

I would have to say yes, unless it kills them outright in which case they'd be dead before they could heal.

It's just a damage flip. You can't activate triggers on it.
