How would you bring Hamelin the Plagued?

So been trying to come up with a list for hamelin the plagued for awhile. And haven't even tried him out yet, but I've tried every other master (well except Hoffman who I just got done sculpting my own.). But anyways, this is what I've come up with:

35ss

Hamelin
x4 desperate mercs. 8ss
x4 rats. 8ss
disgusting whench. 2ss
Nix. 7ss
Rat Catcher. 5ss
Total: 30ss. Leaving me with a cache of 5ss

I've just got to get his play style down. What do you guys thinks?

I think I'd drop 2 desparate mercs for rats. 4 is an awful lot of them.

More rats and perhaps another Rat Chatcher instead of the Mercs.

I again agree with those above me drop the mercs completely and throw in more rats. blight counters are essential and rats do so provide.

sadly rusty cannot come along as she has a rule about being hired only by a master with scavenger. but outa faction you could have fun with a terror tot and feed him the desprate mercs or rats until hes a mature. also guild or undead hounds are cool, the latter giving -wp is huge as it puts most people in hamlins woopin stick shenanigans range.
