my first chance to paint this weekend after 6 weeks of DIY and decorating so I missed the comp this year :(

1st attempt at a limited palette (5 colours) combined with speedpainting (1 hour):

Lovely work amigo, would have done well in the contest I think! Mabel is by far my favorite.

Nice job on both. Mabel is very cute, the beauty mark is a nice touch. I was impressed with the good creepy level on the zombie werewolf when I saw the picture, but I'm doubly impressed you achieved that in an hour!

Thanks for the feedback, it's good to be painting something smaller than a kitchen, lounge etc...

I've been wanting to paint this one for ages, was a zenithal prime followed by scab red and a TCR/black wash on the exposed muscle then just a grey wash on the fur with a touch of drybrushing, the bone was the only 'real' painting - scorched brown, bleached bone and skull white.

Okay, so that means the first one was a success.

Mabel is always cute, and you definitely done her justice here.
