Brand new to Malifaux

Hi, just started this game and picked up the Ramos box (love the models) and a Brass Arachnid, looking to pick up an Electrical creation this weekend. What would people recommend for some much needed ranged damage in a Ramos list? I was thinking of either Hans or Johan.

Also where can I get some 30mm Wyrd bases for splitting up my spiders?

You can find the bases in the Wyrd webstore. I haven't seen a retailer yet that carries them (though I'm only looking at german ones).

There are a handful of other games out there that use 30mm bases. I won't mention them, but you should be able to ask at your local game shop for them.
The Wyrd 30mm bases are exactly the same as the other games, however, and a couple bucks cheaper. Only downside is that most gameshops I've seen don't stock them, and you'll have to wait for a special order.
