Hi; newbie with questions

Hi everyone, i`m planning on getting the Ophelia lacroix box, simply my favorite box of all, but i`ve been reading bad posts regarding gremlins, any advice on this box? and what else should i get for ophelia? thanks.

Well.. We won't know Ophelias rules untill the release of Book2 during Gencon in 1½ week, so I don't think anyone can really give you that much advice on the topic.

Apparently though Ophelia is just a 'Henchman' and not a 'Master' so won't be as strong as other Masters, although she can be used as one and shouldn't be at a disadvantage when doing so (sounds confusing to me aswell..).

Anyway if anything I'd -guess- that other Gremlins would be the only thing you would be able to field along with her.

This wasn't of much help, but only the beta-testers could tell you more and would probably be breaking their NDA by doing so..

If you're going to Gencon just ask around there maybe :) or wait a few weeks.. Hmm hmm... :P

Gremlins, are incredibly fun, but have a definite learning curve to them. As soon as I can manage to win a game with Somer Tooth, I can offer some advice on them.:wallbash:

If you really like the Ophelia box, as Wodschow suggested, I would recommend picking up Book 2 as soon as you can, and see where that takes you...

As chaos said, gremlins are extremely fun to play. And If played right they can be devistating. One of the players at my lgs has a awesome way to play them, it involves using hog whisperers and pigs with somer and two misquotes, it is a nice way to play them. I should talk to him and ask him about his way he plays, and post some of his tips.

I think everyone is going to be very pleased with Ophelia and her crew.

And as Wodschow posts she can be used as a master (though you'll have to make your own decision on whether she is weaker or not).

Thank you so much guys, i just bought a bunch of infinity figures, i think i wont have money for food this month cause i`m going for malifaux too, i have the 2nd book in pre order so for your comments i`m going to be faithful to Ophelia, as i said, my favorite box.

Som'er Teeth's Gremlin crews are very tricky to play and win with. (Not a good first crew, unless you're really good at spotting/figuring out good combos and finessing your way to a win.)
That said, they're really fun, especially if you're willing to get a bit silly when playing them.
As mentioned above, Ophelia looks to play at least a bit differently from Som'er. I eagerly await book 2 to see...
