I know when you think of mini conventions, you don't immediately think of Pennsylvania, but I'm just excited that there's a convention within easy driving distance for me.

It's Fall In! (http://www.fall-in.org/index.htm) held in Gettysburg, PA in November. It's a annual convention what's mostly historial miniatures and gaming, but there are other non-historial goodies there. Deane Goodwin (who organizes the Visions in Color/Putty at the Yahoo Mini-Painter group) is going to be there with Crocodile Games, Dark Sword and Magnificent Egos minis. See the list of exhibitors HERE (http://www.fall-in.org/exhibitorsList.htm).

I'm looking forward to going! Yay, minis that I don't have to mailorder! lol

LOL, speaking of historicals shows I just made it back from the Chicago MMSI show this weekend and you'd be suprised how well the fantasy stuff is recieved there.

Does anyone know of an historical show that would be within 4-8 hours drive from Eastern Tennessee? I'd be interested to go to one of these if I could find one a bit closer to me.

Since several years now, the two live fairly well together in Europe. If you look at the works of the top european fantasy painters, a lot are adapting their painting technic to take up the historical one.
