Hey everyone, I know that Rath just posted a very similar listing, but mine is a little different on a few things.
1.) New to Zoraida, played her box against Nicodem and gave him a major smack down.
2.) It's a 35ss list instead of 25, which in my mind at least is a pretty drastic difference.
3.) Don't have same scheme restrictions.
If I can't get a list I'm comfortable with for Big Z I'll probably switch to Pandy, though I think only one or two others at the tournament will have even seen Zoraida played before, so I'd really like to showcase her to everyone AND win the tourny.
Need good advice on a 35ss list that can take on any opponent and tips on how to use it. Thanks!

Here's a Zoraida list I've used with some success:
Zoraida (7 stones - cache+2)
- Mature Nephilim (10)
- Doppelganger (8)
- Convict Gunslinger (6)
- Terror Tot x3 (9)
The idea here is to make sure you've got a model that you can use Obey on often because you're not sure if your opponent will have someone available for you. Between Zoraida, her Voodoo Doll, and the Doppelganger, you can toss out three obeys on to your Mature if you need to. The Convict is going to be around to get some ranged support. The Tots can be used to quickly grab points if you need it, or to keep close behind your Mature to mop up and to hopefully grow into some Younger Nephilim when the opportunity presents itself.
The Doppelganger's a nice piece because it usually grabs you initiative and it's flexible enough to pull in what you need. Need to take something down at ranged? Grab the paired pistols from the Convict. Need some more melee punch? Take the Mature's claws and go to town. Want to stay a little more safe? Grab Obey and make someone else do your work.
I'm sure others will have different opinions - listen to them all and see who best fits your style of play. Good luck!

I myself have been playing this set up for a while;
Zoraida (SS Cache of 7 from unused soulstones)
1 Waldgeist (6)
1 Baby Kade (6)
3 Silurids (3x5=15. Yay math!)
1 Good ol' Convict Gunslinger. (6)
They way I usually play with this set up is to try and Lure (Yes, Kade does in fact have lure.) or Obey opposing models away from each other and any objectives and dispose of them with either packtivated silurids or Zora's hair pin dealies. This strategy is great against highly companion centric armies. (Seamus and Perdita mostly.) It also excels at treasure hunt and claim jump; as you can just obey them away from the objective.
The major down side is that its pretty dependent on you having the blocking terrain and forests where you need it, that and only the CGS has any sort of decent ranges ability.

Zoraida, five bayou gremlins, one piglet, one warpig, one hog wisperer, two sirilids.

Alright, you have me interested thaehl, now tell me why.
Aldyhide, like the list, and maybe its just me, but I've found the Baby Kade just can't take a hit without other sorrows and woes around. His defenses are awesome, though. Will definitely consider.
Wrabbit, thanks for your list, might actually go with that one, assuming my doppelganger comes in in time, Can see it synergizing very well.

Hrmm...You do raise quite the solid point there. I just couldn't really find some thing to fill 6 ss that would be left. Another Waldgeist is just plain redundant. A young neph is probably weaker than Kade. Hmmm...Candy is too expensive.
Tots perhaps?

Right now, this is what I'd go for;
Zoraida
Mature Nephilim (10)
3 Silurid (15)
Convict Gunslinger (6)
Bayou Gremlin (3)
34 Soulstones
I don't think you can really go wrong with a MNephilim in your crew, and I've been really enjoying the hit & run capablitilies of the Silurid.
The gremlin might look like an odd choice, but for the points you pay I quite like what he brings to the table with Zoraida. He's cheap, he's a long-ranged shooter and he has the potential to either take an objective or put out some stupid-high damage with the right cards.
I like the idea of using the doppelganger. I'm very curious to hear what thaehl has to say about his own list though.
Aldyhide: with the two spare SS currently on Zoraida you could swap kade for an 8SS model. So Candy would work, as would a doppelganger, hooded rider or papa loco. ;)

Facepalm @ self. Oh, right I forgot about that. Yeah, I'd definitely go with either candy or the doppelganger then. I myself lean toward Candy. Range (sort of) and healing flips anyone?
Thanks for pointing that out Rath. :)
