Played my first game with Seamus last night and I just want to check that I did it right. There are basically 2 things I am curious about.

I was using the box set and had all the models clustered at the beginning.

Am I correct in understanding that there is no max for companion? So Sybelle could activate every Belle in range? And then if Seamus was in range at the start of the activation they would move quicker, so everything could effective move 12"?

It seemed right, but it was crazy fast when you include Seamus' third action as well to keep up.

One other quick question was Call Belle with Sybelle - she could call a belle that was 12" away and push it to within 3" of her right even if that Belle had already activated? Also, does it have to move in a straight line or could I have put her 3" away on the other side of Sybelle from her original orientation?

B............S

S casts call B, could I do this?

..........S...B

Thanks

There is no max for companion that I'm aware of, so yes.

Yes, if Seamus is in range they get much faster.

I had this same question, too. My feeling is that the rule just says to within 3", so it could be on the far side. It felt wrong to me, though.

That is correct, you can effectively gain 15" out of it.

Sisters in Spirit for the Viks works the same way.

yes, I think we are all in agreement here.

just check the belle move distance increase. they walk 4" normally and get a boost of ?" when the activate by Seamus, this boost will apply to two walks if they choose to spend both ap on walking, even if on the second walk they are out of Seamus' range

Okay awesome thanks, that is what I thought, I just wanted to double check, because combining that movement with Shambling which seems to ignore slowdowns they are crazy fast. I felt like I had to be cheating ;-)

But it doesn't say it has to move towards or away, or directly towards or directly away. It just stipulates the ending position (within 3").

Lure shows the other - pushing directly towards.

So you can indeed catapult the Belle past Sybelle.

Agreed, that's how I read it. But when I pulled it on my opponent, it just felt a little dirty.

But then again, I was playing with undead prostitutes...
