I just don't 'get it'. Does the whole Mega City thing have intelligent apes and that sort of stuff? Granted, I've never read Judge Dredd and only watched that pathetic movie, but still, apes?

Never read Judge Dredd!? Excellent stuff, highly addictive... Don't even start, and save yourself some time and $$.

Or get all the reprints w/ Brian Bolland doing the art, and enjoy!

Well they have turned up and I'm quite impressed with the casting, very minimal mould lines and look like they are gonna be fun to paint.

The first thousand out of a mold had best be damn close to free of mold lines so I expect that is a good reason. Molds on general last from 2000-3000 miniatures so when you start getting up there, that's when you get the mold lines really badly.

Why I just went off on that tangent, I haven't a clue.

Still, paint you munkie now.

Some are cool but some are crappy. I quite like the chimp with the spiked club.
The ape from Ape, Mutant and Bodyguard is better than any of these.

The stree/gutter lawyer is nice too.

Yeah, I like the ape from that set too, unfortunately I don't like the other two in that set.
