Hi there - New to the game, about to play my first game this weekend. I ordered the Cult of December box, as well as a Cerberus to start me out.

I was reading through the Errata to the main rulebook, and noticed that for the Gamin and Ice Golem, for the ability Statue it says to replace "may not move, be pushed..." with "may not be the target of movement effects."

The original ability seemed straightforward... it becomes a statue, and can't move. But this errata confuses me. Can they move after using statue? It says to replace the 'may not move' part in addition to the 'may not be pushed' part. Does 'walk' count as a movement effect targetted on it?

So, bottom line: Errata is confusing, it seems to say to remove the 'may not move' effect from Statue. What's the intent?

A movement effect is just the term used to define Pushes and walks. The errata actually defined Movement effects on the Second page. So while a statue'd model can't be lured, Lilith can cast switch on it and move it around because switch is a placement effect and not a movement effect.

Ah, I see. Silly of me to miss something like that early on, I guess some things go in one ear and out the other even when reading.

I assume you meant it CAN'T be lured but can still be transpositioned? Just to be clear.

Thanks for the answer!
